"Changing Weather" is a colorful acrylic abstract painting by Jason Stephen, Nashville's Painter of Music in Motion. This painting was inspired by the music of Bryan Ferry's "Taxi".

All the paintings that I create are painted with acrylics on canvas and are inspired by different styles of music. When beginning a piece of work, I pick colors that are appealing, stimulating, and draw attention to the eye to create a pleasurable experience for the viewer. I do not start painting until I become emersed in the music. Then what I create is "pure abstract" because it reflects the motion of the music. When I paint to rock, pop, or alternative music, it inspires me to create dark or bright colors, dense lines and circular motions. Jazz music inspires contrasting vibrant colors and dynamic shapes.
